Version: 1st season Homecoming episode. When Sylar throws her against the wall. She opens her eyes to Paixao.

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight.

Appearance: Claire has blonde hair and green eyes. She’s very much in shape due to her cheerleading, so she’s thin. She’s medium height, about 5'4'’. Her blonde hair is straight on top but ends in waves, going to about her shoulder blades. She has bangs that she usually sweeps to the right, or pins back. She wears it in a few different styles but most often she leaves it down. She is often seen wearing her red and white cheerleading uniform, but she, like many teen girls, has many outfits to choose from.

Abilities/weaponry: Claires ability is called spontaneous regeneration. She is able to quickly recover from most any injury. With this comes a high tolerance for pain, or more likely doesn’t feel physical pain at all. For example: she did grimace when she stuck her hand down the garbage disposal, but it is hard to say if it was a reaction to seeing her hand get chopped up, or actual feelings of pain.

History:
Claire’s biological parents died in a car crash when she was three. She was then adopted by the Bennett’s, of Odessa Texas, who at the time were having trouble having a baby of their own. She had been living a normal life up until about 6 months ago when she started to discover her regenerative ability. It all started when she and her friend at the time, Jackie, were playing a tug of war game with a cheerleading outfit. Claire had just made the squad but Jackie was teasing her about how she didn’t really want it bad enough. So then end up arguing and Jackie lets go of the hanger that the uniform is on. Claire’s hand goes through a glass cabinet door. Not too long after the incident her dad asks to see the bruise to see how it’s healing. Claire mentions that the pain went away and when she unwraps the bandage there is no evidence of injury at all. As the next few months go by she decides to trust her friend Zach and lets him know about her ability. She tests it out by purposely injuring herself to see what happens and she has Zach tape it. Claire is determined to keep her ability a secret because she thinks that people will label her a “freak”. But this worry does not stop her from running into a burning building to save a man. She lets Jackie take the credit for that, not wanting anyone to know about her. Not too long after she is at a party with the school’s quarterback. The quarterback tries to rape Claire, but she falls back and lands on a branch, that embeds itself in her skull. It seems she is dead, but once the medical examiner pulls the branch out Claire wakes up on the table to see herself cut open. She quickly sneaks out of there and then goes to school, much to the surprise of the quarterback. Claire is pissed off and decides to take revenge. She gets the quarterback to let her drive his car and then purposely crashes it into a wall. She has no injuries from it but the quarterback is. When she goes to apologize it seems he has lost his memory of the event. Despite the fact that everyone knows she is responsible for the quarterbacks injuries she is still voted homecoming queen. Due to events unknown to her, her father won’t let her go to the homecoming dance. But she sneaks out to go anyway.
